A publicação Contrast: A Fotografia no Ensino Superior é o resultado de uma parceria estabelecida entre a FAUP /CEAU / CCRE e a ESMAD / uniMAD e vem dar continuidade e uma nova dimensão à secção com o mesmo nome, que tinha vindo a ser publicada na revista internacional de fotogra a scopio Magazine. Contrast vem enriquecer e fazer evoluir o trabalho editorial dessa secção da revista, assumindo-se agora como um espaço independente, integrando diversos editores ligados ao ensino da fotogra a. Um dos seus principais intuitos é o de reunir um conjunto diversi cado de textos de re exão e análise crítica, sobre projectos fotográ cos realizados em contexto de ensino e investigação, representativos das principais instituições do ensino superior português ligadas à docência da fotogra a e integrando também unidades curriculares em que a fotogra a surge no âmbito de outras áreas disciplinares como, por exemplo Arquitectura, Design e Multimedia e Estudos Artísticos, entre outras.

Published on the collection AAI, Contrast: A Fotografia no Ensino Superior is the result of a partnership established between the research groups AAI | CEAU | FAUP and uniMAD | ESMAD, giving continuity and a new dimension to the homonymoys section, which has been published in the international photography magazine scopio Magazine. Contrast thus enrichens and promotes the evolution of the editorial work of the section of that magazine, positioning itself now as an independent space, integrating several editors connected to the teaching of photography. One of its main goals is the gathering of a diversified set of texts of reflection and critical analysis about photographic projects made in the contexts of education and research, representatives of the main Portuguese higher education institutions connected to the teaching of photography and integrating also course units in which photography appears in the context of other disciplinary fields, such as Architecture, Design and Multimedia, Artistic Studies, among others.
